  • Manage the data processing/modelling/new methodology to speed up product development process under general supervision.
  • Identify, test and implement new methods to support automated formulation process.
  • Responsible for creating optimized data structure to simplify data exchange and data analysis process.

Main Tasks

  •  Work together with individual product development labs to identify innovative & efficient ways for data generation and collection from daily experiments.
  • Provide data support for modelling & simulation activities in development projects.
  • Collect pain points from individual labs & Create user interfaces/Dash boards.
  • Introduction of new facilities/systems/tools to individual labs.


  •  Education: Master in Chemical Engineering/Polymer chemistry/Material science with IT background (e.g. courses, certificate).
  • Working Experience: 2-3 years working in Chemical industry /coatings, automotive coatings added advantage.
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge:  Data Processing / Basic knowledge lab work product development process.
  • Experience in formulation science with various DOE methodologies and familiar with different DOE software is preferred.
  • English/Chinese: advanced, speaking and reading/writing, German Language added advantage.
