SAIC is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Engineer for an upcoming program supporting FDA. This position will be located out of Ashburn, VA or White Oak, MD.
This program will support the FDA to manage and operate its data centers and IT infrastructure, provide
cybersecurity support to protect sensitive information at the data centers, and to maintain an inventory of
the FDA's IT hardware and software.
Design, develop, engineer, implement and tune solutions to MLS requirements.
Perform complex risk analyses which also include risk assessment.
Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
Support customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
Apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
Required Certifications: CCNA, CISSP, Security +
Experience with: Data Encryption, Cybertools i.e Splunk, Solarwinds, Nessus, NetApp, McAfee etc.
