A classical double bass player, Dr. Jess Ting attended the Juilliard School, receiving pre-college, undergraduate and graduate degrees there before embarking on a career in medicine. He received his MD from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he also completed residency training in general surgery. Dr. Ting then went on to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery before returning to New York Cityfor a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
