The US Navy Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project is to employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with new and modernized technology. The goal of RRL is to provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the work environment.

As part of this effort, SAIC currently has a contingent job opportunity for a Multimedia Support Specialist II. This position can be remote/telework, but preference will be given to candidates in the following regions:

San Diego, CA
Virginia Beach, VA
Pensacola, FL
Meridian, MS
Newport, RI

This position is contingent upon contract award.

• Responsible for developing media for interactive eLearning training products and/or instructor-led training materials. The candidate will interact with team members, customers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop engaging interactive web- and computer-based training products for our US Navy client.
• Create top quality graphic designs and illustrations, as well as develop animations, interactive activities, and other media. Responsibilities include development of course navigation and deployment of courseware within Learning Management Systems. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of their work. Attention to detail is required for this position, as well as demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time efficiently, and work in a team environment.
• Incorporates software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animation, text, and sound.
• Supervision Received: General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.


• High School and two (2) years or more related experience is required, a bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Art, or similar field of study from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• An online portfolio is required.

• Demonstrated experience with interactive multimedia applications such as Adobe Creative Suite is required. Working experience with Adobe Animate is desired. The candidate must possess strong graphic design and illustration skills.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills are a required, including the ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, xAPI and ADA Section 508 compliancy is desired.
• Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
