The Agency is interested in IT Modernization efforts and Re-skilling and Workforce Transformation. Re-skill and up-skill employees impacted by IT modernization efforts, evolve workforce to more 21st Century skill sets and work practices, and enable the workforce to drive successful IT Modernization efforts going forward utilizing in-house talent.

 

The Learning Specialist are responsible for creating and improving content and training efforts by leading the research & development of interactive and experiential learning for participants. Personnel will participate, as needed, on an agile delivery teams and oversee the efforts of staff to document, using plain language guidelines, content to communicate technically sophisticated topics, such as cloud and DevSecOps. Designs and implements tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the enterprise.  Draws out, captures and categorizes business information by direct communications with end users. Develops storage platforms, index strategies and user interfaces for knowledge assets.  Implements workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms such as SharePoint. Responsible for analyzing user business problems to be solved with automated systems. May formulate and define information system scope and objectives through research, analysis, testing and fact finding with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. May prepare communications and make presentations on recommendations on system enhancements or alternatives. May act as functional expert.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems to meet business, user, and cost requirements.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience.

 

Required Skills:

  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience developing the strategy and execution of knowledge sharing and content publishing across a number of outreach channels.

  • Must be able to advise how to improve the iteration of content and collaborate across the team to improve the quality and effectiveness of documentation and delivery.

  • Individuals must be capable of producing and editing content as well as planning and facilitating learning and content workshops, brainstorming sessions, and directing the development of content and learning modules.

 

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
