Job Details:

As a part of the Global IT Project Management team, you will aid in leading and completing information technology-oriented projects from planning through implementation. You will gain an understanding of each project's scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively aid in the coordination of activities for each project team. You will be assisting in all aspects of project execution, performance, and delivery throughout the project management lifecycle. Participating in the lifecycle of a project will give you the chance to partner with resource managers and functional owners in order to identify all the resources required to execute the project plan, which would give you the ability to be able to negotiate and place resource requests, and manage the current resources for your projects. This opportunity will give you the chance to create, maintain, and manage detailed project plans by being able to describe the work breakdown structures of deliverables by phase, activity, and task. Additionally, you will play a key role in helping expand the project management approach to the Enterprise Architecture team within the LabCorp IT organization.

Requirements

  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of project management software (MS Project)
