Our Team:

We are a core engineering team responsible for creating solutions to launch multi-channel marketing campaigns using a CMS system called Magnolia. We use modern javascript to create generic front end components to enable quick to market publications of branded NYTimes content, and utilize JAVA on the backend to extend core functionality of Magnolia to provide custom and optimized workflow for the New York Times content publishers.

  • We release often, you will have code go live in your first few weeks

What You’ll Do…   

On our team, you’ll get to jump right into our quick development cycle and work on:

  • Enhancing features of Magnolia CMS such as targeting & personalization

  • Expanding our monitoring, alerting, & testing frameworks

  • Improving our resilience & security solutions

You’ll write and debug Java code, write tests, develop automation tooling, and help design new features.

Who Should Apply…

You’re a good communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on learning and improving yourself and others. You’re curious and open-minded, able to question but commit. You want to work on systems and projects that are critical to the business.

  • Comfortable with Java

  • Strong programming skills

  • Experience or interest in learning:

      • RESTful Web Services and HTTP

      • SQL, Databases

      • Agile methodologies

      • Continuous delivery engineering practices

      • DevOps

      • Automated Tests

      • Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
