Overview/Purpose:

The Advertising Operations Specialist will deliver the day-to-day operations of programmatic media sales including private marketplace, automated guaranteed, RTB, and audience extension programs. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital ad operations and a familiarity with the programmatic ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of programmatic sales business at Condé Nast
  • Support brand and corporate sales teams in setup and execution of programmatic campaigns
  • Setup of private marketplace deals (deal IDs) via Condé Nast’s supply-side platforms
  • Oversee operations and delivery of automated guaranteed campaigns, including pre-, mid- and post-flight.
  • Execute updates to price floors and targeting for Condé Nast’s RTB exchange marketplace
  • Support ad operations team in trafficking and execution of audience extension campaigns
  • Maintenance of integrations between programmatic platforms/sales, order management, and ad serving systems
  • Coordinate with revenue and inventory management teams on reporting initiatives

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recommended 1-2 years of experience in digital ad operations, previous programmatic experience preferred
  • Expert-level understanding of DFP ad serving
  • Experience with Google AdX, Rubicon, Index, or other publisher-side programmatic platforms
  • Familiarity with buy-side programmatic tools (DSPs)
  • Ability to balance workloads from multiple stakeholders including sales, ad operations, and revenue operations teams within Condé Nast digital organization

  • Proficiency with analysis utilizing excel (understanding and reporting ad performance/delivery)
